Hi, you may know as NonstopEpic from ROBLOX. I'm the catalog analyst on Roblox News, but I've also played many other games before ROBLOX. This will be a series in which I will talk about many games I've played, how I got to ROBLOX, and some game reviews. Now to begin part one.
I was a young kid, and I was done being a toddler. I had nothing to do at home, and the game boy advance became very popular with many of the other kids at school. I wanted this game boy advance because I had nothing to do at home, but then I heard about the Nintendo DS Lite, and I wanted that instead. Soon enough, one day I got the DS Lite and New Super Mario Bros. I bought New Super Mario Bros. after I saw a McDonald's commercial advertising New Super Mario Bros. kid's meals. It was great and New Super Mario Bros. was definitely a great game. I was now a Super Mario fan. Soon I got some more games, such as Super Mario 64 DS. Those games were great as well.
In that summer, the Wii was released. It was at the price of 250 dollars so not many people in school had it, but everyone wanted it. I wanted it as well, mainly because I wanted to play Super Paper Mario on it. That December, in Christmas, there was many small gifts and then a huge gift. We had to open the smaller ones first before we could open the big one. Then, we finally opened the big gift and inside was a Wii. Not only that, it was a combo pack that had some additional equipment. Me and my sister screamed in joy like that kid in the Nintendo 64 video. (If you don't know what that is, go on youtube, search Nintendo 64, click the one with a couple million views, and watch.) I also got Super Paper Mario and loved that.
A little later I was at a kid's house and I was trying out his Super Mario Galaxy, which the commercials for it weren't interesting. Soon I became hooked to the game, and got it. It was another great buy. However, I was beginning to get interested in computer games. One of the biggest games at that time was Toontown, and that was free, so I tried it. I became addicted to that and even got very close to buying the membership. However, after a while I realized some things about Toontown. One: many people in the game are noobs. As in, all they say is stuff like, "TOONTOWN ROCKS! We will beat those cogs! Toons of the World Unite!" Second, you can't do much being a free member and you still can't do much as a paid member. Third: It's made by Disney, and the only good thing Disney invented was Disneyland and Walt Disney World. If you go on Disney Channel you'll discover that all the shows on there are complete failures. I was done with Toontown and went back to my Wii and DS Lite. At the same time I saw ROBLOX ads but wasn't interested.
